We have rebranded the Annual Development Meet but this remains a developmental meet for swimmers. Our aim is to encourage those swimmers who did not make the County Championships earlier this year entrants and give more swimmers a chance to win a Kent Medal. As a result there will continue to be restriction on swimmers who achieved acceptance for an individual entry in the main County Championships (held in January/February 2023). In that case the swimmer will not be eligible to enter that specific stroke and specific distance at the Junior Meet (e.g. If he/she were accepted for the 50m freestyle he/she could not enter the 50m freestyle at the Development Meet but would still be able to enter the 100m Freestyle (subject to the upper limit times)
- Age Groups with age as at 31 December 2023
- 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 years
- 10-16 years for swimmers with a classification category
A poolside pass must be arranged in advance to access poolside - the 2023 County Championship passes are still valid.
