  • Swim England London Cancels Open Water Regional Championships

    The London Region Open Water Committee had become increasingly concerned that the Championships (assuming they were permitted to go ahead) were not going to be viable due to the risks associated with getting swimmers swimming longer distance having not trained for three months.  Swim England have now cancelled the National Championships for this reason. The Region have therefore decided that it would be in everyone's best interests to cancel the event. This will be formally published next week as there other disciplines impacted by the Swim England announcement. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.
