England Swimming 11-year-old Development Programme Parents' Workshop

As part of the overall National Programme under the auspices of England Talent the County will be delivering a parents’ Workshop to be held at the London Aquatics Centre between the second and third sessions (sprint sessions) on the second day of the Championships – Sunday 20 January. The scheduled start time is 1.30 pm but will depend on the time swimming at the first session on that day has been completed.

The workshop on 20 January will be open to the parents of all 2008 born (aged 11 at the end of 2019) County Championships qualifiers. It will also be open to parents of any swimmers born in 2007, 2006 and 2005 (aged 12, 13, 14 at the end of 2019) who have not previously qualified for the County Championships. As the size of the room is limited, we will have to limit attendance to one parent per swimmer.

If your swimmer is born in 2009 or in 2004 or earlier or your swimmer is 2005, 2006 or 2007 born and has previously swum at the Kent County Championships (other than in a relay) we are sorry that we will not be able to accommodate you at the workshop.

We appreciate that not everyone will have a child swimming on 20 January, but one parent of such County Championships qualifiers will still be welcome to attend. We will arrange a separate method of entry if you are attending only the workshop.
