Pamela Mills of Tonbridge SC: sad news

Pamela Mills (1939-2025)

It is with great sadness that we announce that our Tonbridge S.C. President Pam Mills passed away suddenly on Thursday 27th February.

Pam was the essence and backbone of Tonbridge Swimming Club from 1978 to date (those dates are from our SCM records, but we believe she pre-dates 1978 even) and was well loved and respected both within and outside of the Club by all that knew her.Pam was an active official and statesperson for Tonbridge S.C. and may people and clubs within Kent and the South-East Region with have dealt with her over the decades.

Pam was an active Tonbridge S.C. Main Committee member right up to her last days and was an encyclopaedia on any matters to do with the Club.We have passed on our love and sympathy to Phil, Stephanie and the family, and the Club will be paying more formal respects in due course.

We will greatly miss this extraordinary lady.

Pam’s funeral will take place at Kent & Sussex Crematorium, Tunbridge Wells TN2 5JJ on Monday 24 March at 1.45pm – all are welcome.

Family flowers only please.

The wake will take place at Poult Wood Golf Club shortly thereafter – all are welcome.
