Kent Sport's Club & Coach Forum on 22 November is Free!

22nd November 2017

The next Club & Coach Forum takes place on Wednesday 22 November 6.30-9.00pm at K Sports in Aylesford and there is the choice of two workshops:

  • Warm Up – Led by Victoria Annis, Senior Physiotherapist from the University of Kent. Victoria will take you through the principles of an effective warm up and demonstrate how they can be used in many different sports.
  • Club Structures – Delivered by the Sport England Club Matters team this workshop looks at why getting your club structure impacts on members’ liability and financial implications, whether you are a separate legal entity and what rules and requirements you need. Also covers unincorporated or incorporated structures and whether you can adopt charity status or CASC.

We also have individual 15 minute funding appointments with staff here at Kent Sport available throughout the evening.

More information and registration which is required can be accessed via www.kentsport.org/clubforum2017

For anyone in need of a UK Coaching safeguarding workshop we have workshops running on Tuesday 7 November in Tunbridge Wells and in Canterbury on Wednesday 6 December. First Aid is also running in Medway on Tuesday 28 November. All of these are 6.30-9.30pm and can be booked via www.kentsport.org/workshops
