KCASA Team Championship - 5 March 2017
5th March 2017
The team championships take place at London Aquatic Centre on 5 March 2017.
A separate website for the Team Championships is here
The accepted entries are here , please check your clubs entries and let me know if there are any errors.
The additional team conditions are here. We need your team cards completed on the day, you are welcome to pre prepare them and staple them to the cards on the day.
Normally the swimmer names are not included in the programme, but if you could let me have your squad lists by Friday 24th Feb, they can be listed in the programme. Note these won't be binding, this is more for the benefit of spectators to see the names of the swimmers they have come to see. A straightforward list in Word or similar with name with age at year-end will be enough. I can only include clubs that send me the lists.
The programme is here, please note some presentations are again planned to be in the middle of the sessions, please ask coaches to have the medalists ready, apart from the 4x100's they are all finals so it should be straightforward to prepare the 1,2,3.
The Venue
The venue is one of the best swimming venues in the world, and we hope provides inspiration for Kent swimmers.
Entry for swimmers, spectators and coaches will be from 9.00am. Please ensure people don't arrive too early as the security team will make them wait.
All access to the building for officials, spectators, swimmers and coaches is through the Event doors upstairs. Officials must be carrying their ASA cards at all times. Coaches Poolside Passes must be worn at all times.
The venue has an exclusive catering contract with its caterers and will not allow spectators to bring their own food/drink. Spectators may be bag searched for food, and asked to dispose of any food/drink. This is not ideal, but is outside of our control, please ensure your swimmers and spectators are aware of this.
We have agreed with the operators that swimmers can bring their own food. They should take any food through with them. Spectators will not be able to give them food during the event unless purchased on site.
Car parking is limited. There are eleven (11) blue badge park spots and these are on a first come first served basis.
Officials, Spectators, Swimmers and Coaches should park in Westfield Centre, Stratford. The best car park is car park B, aisle 114. If you exit through these doors into the centre, with John Lewis/Waitrose on your left, go up the escalator on your right (not the travelator) to the ground floor. Exit through the main doors to The Street, John Lewis will be on your right and Jamie Oliver Restaurant on your left. Go straight, cross into the Olympic Park at the pedestrian crossing ahead of you. It should take about ten minutes.
