11-year-old Development Camp - 31 October 2021

The face-to-face camp for the 11-Year-Old Pathway will be held at Kings School Canterbury on Sunday 31 October. We have allowed swimmers the opportunity to use early season times recorded in the rankings as at midnight on 24 September which is considerably later than suggested by Swim England Talent and which give those who could not record Level X times the possibility of using newer times.

Please appreciate that we have to take a snapshot at some point to allow time for the swimmers to be invited to Camp and in the event of non acceptance time to invite substitutes. By setting the cut off as 24 September this should allow clubs time to file results from the previous weekend with the rankings authority in sufficient time but I am afraid we will be unable to accept times ranked after the cut off even if this is down to delays by the rankings authority. I appreciate that there may be some disappointment for some swimmers but we feel this is as fair as we can objectively be given the circumstances of the last 18 months or so.

We still have at least one vacancy for a Skills Coach so coaches please apply. In particular we are looking for younger coaches and for those with smaller clubs who are looking to broaden their coaching experience.”
