Kent Open Water Championships 2024
To enter the Kent Open Water Championships swimmers will need to enter the London Region event. The results of all Kent swimmers (both London and Rural) will then be extracted from the overall results to provide a Kent championship results sheet.
The Open Water Championships of both the Swim England London and Swim England South East provide the only opportunity for qualifying for the Swim England National Championships. In both cases, the top three swimmers (representing a club affiliated to the respective region) in each age-group/gender event will qualify.
This means that to have a chance of qualifying for the National event, members of Kent Rural clubs must swim in the South East event and members of Kent London clubs must swim in the London event.
And just to make things more complicated, as noted above, the Kent Open Water Championships will only be run as part of the London Event.
Finally, both regional events are also open events so whether you belong to a Kent Rural or a Kent London club, you can enter either event for more competitive practice - or just for fun!

The 2024 Championships will be held at Mercers Park, South Nutfield, Redhill RH1 4EU on Sunday 30 June with full details available here. Please note that the closing date for entries is Monday 17 June 2024.
Swim England London Open Water Championships
The Regional Open Water event is taking place on the 7 July 2024 at Merchant Taylors’ School, Sandy Lodge, Northwood, Middlesex, HA6 2HT – see further details here. Please note that the closing date for entries is Friday 14 June 2024.
