  • Major Changes to British Swimming J1 Training Course

    KCASA have just been made aware of major changes being made to the way the J1 Course is to be delivered, and the timetable for the end of J1 training and assessment in its current form. Although, the dates are well over a year away, everyone must ensure that they plan enough time to complete their training AND assessment.  Course Leaders need to act and warn all existing trainees at their next session, as well as inform future applicants for courses starting later this year. The last date to start the current J1 training, and the final date for the last J1 assessment that can be carried out under the current system, are non-negotiable. No Judge Level 1 (J1) courses can be started after 1 November 2019Final J1 assessment must be made before 31 July 2020 Enforcement of this requirement will be up to all of us, in the first instance.
