KCASA Special Council Meeting 2020

You are invited to attend the 2020 Special Council Meeting which will take place on Thursday 15 October via Zoom to approve the KCASA Accounts for 2019/20 and announce a number of awards.

One of these presentations will be for the Edward G Maples Memorial Trophy 2020 which is your chance to nominate someone in your club who most probably regularly goes beyond the call of duty - especially during this difficult year. Nominations should be made using this form. Please note the closing date is now 9 October 2020.

Two notices have been emailed out to all clubs, other affiliated organisations, President, Vice President, Past Presidents, Honorary Members, Officers, Management Committee, and Discipline/other Managers/appointed role holders confirming the date and time, together with a copy of the Agenda and the Statement of Accounts. The minutes of the SCM on 25 January 2020 will also be circulated prior to the meeting. Zoom log-in details of the meeting will be circulated to all registered attendees a minimum of 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting. Please follow the registration details below.

Registering your attendance and eligibility to vote

The following KCASA members make up the Council and have voting rights on the basis of one person, one vote irrespective of the number of roles held:

1. Club/Association Delegates

Affiliated clubs and associations can nominate delegates on the following basis: 1 delegate from clubs with up to 50 members 2 delegates from clubs with between 51 and 200 members 3 delegates from clubs with over 200 members 1 delegate from other affiliated bodies. The number of delegates for each club is shown on the registration form which must be completed by the club secretary to register attendance and eligibility to vote.

2. Other Members with voting rights

President, Vice President, Past Presidents, Honorary Life Members, Officers, other members of the Management Committee, Discipline/other Managers and other appointed role holders.

To register attendance at the meeting and eligibility to vote, members in this category should complete this form.

3. To register your attendance without voting rights

Any member may attend the SCM, but unless you meet the criteria listed in points 1 and 2 above, you will not be eligible to vote. However, please do check with your club or association secretary to see if there is a vacancy for a delegate. If there is no vacancy and you still wish to attend, please complete this form.

4. To present your apologies

Apologies submitted using this form with be recorded in the meeting minutes as appropriate.

This meeting replaces the KCASA Annual Council Meeting scheduled for 26 September, as a direct result of this year's Covid-19 pandemic.
