Nominate and celebrate at the ASA Aquatics Awards!
Nominations have opened for the ASA Aquatics Awards 2016, the annual celebration of volunteers, athletes, Clubs, Swim Schools and facility operators.

The Awards will be held on Saturday, 26 November in the prestigious Great Hall at the University of Birmingham.

Set in the University's original late-Victorian red brick building, the Grand Hall will provide the perfect backdrop to the Awards, which includes a celebration lunch.

There are 14 nomination categories open to the public including the David Sparkes OBE Innovation Award, and nominations can be submitted by both individuals and groups.

ASA CEO, Adam Paker, said: "We received a huge number of high quality nominations last year. This is a truly great opportunity to really celebrate the unsung heroes at your club, swim school and local pool, so please do get involved and submit your nominations."

The open nomination categories for 2016 are:

  • ASA Learn to Swim Award
  • ASA School Swimming Charter: Primary School of the Year
  • ASA Swim School of the Year
  • ASA Achievement Award: Youth Participant
  • ASA Achievement Award: Senior Participant
  • ASA Achievement Award: Disabled Participant
  • ASA Facility Operator of the Year
  • ASA Club of the Year
  • ASA Young Volunteer of the Year
  • ASA Volunteer of the Year
  • ASA Teacher of the Year
  • ASA Coach of the Year
  • ASA Services to Aquatics
  • The David Sparkes OBE Innovation Award
