London Annual Council Meeting
The Region’s Annual Council meeting is on 17 September 2015 at St. Botolph’s Church Hall, Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3TL. We ask clubs to advise us who their delegates will be and invite them to notify us of any nominations for office and/or motions that they want to discuss by 31 July. ASA Club Conferences
The ASA has announced the dates of the 2015 Club Conferences including 19 September 2015 in London at the Holiday Inn Stratford City. More details are to follow.

Youth Sports Trust: Physical activity
The Youth Sports Trust has published a report, The Class of 2035, which presents four possible scenarios - both positive and negative - for the future. It suggests that future generations of young people risk becoming “hostages to handheld devices” and “disengaged from physical activity”. A survey of 1,000 5-16 year olds found that:

The ASA Sport Governing Board has clarified when S15 (Hearing Impaired) athletes can compete in events. They are not included in Paralympic events and Multi-classification events but can compete in any able-bodied event. Where the meet conditions allow they can compete in S15 events with medals awarded to this specific classification. More information is available from Carl Cooper.
