Erith & District SC have a Head Coach Vacancy

Erith & District Swimming Club, based in South East London, is looking for an ambitious, passionate and progressive Head Coach (Lead Swimming Coach) with strong leadership skills, and the vision and drive to help our swimmers meet their full potential and maintain a love of the sport.

This is a part time role, offering competitive rates of pay. Attendance at meets and competitions is required.

Erith & District Swimming Club has a rich and proud legacy of producing high performance swimmers in a fun, safe, and structured, team focused training environment. Our squads range from Learn to Swim to Performance, and also include a high achieving Masters and Synchro Squads.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a high level of commitment and passion for the sport of swimming and developing athletes to achieve their fullest potential.
  • Hold a minimum of a Swim England Swimming Coach/ASA Level 2 Coaching Qualification.
  • Build rapport quickly and competently with swimmers, parents, coaches, teachers and club members.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, and the ability to provide a well structured coaching plan, and pathway throughout the club delivering an excellent training environment for all our athletes.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills in order to support, develop and grow the coaching team.
  • Understand how to develop a performance culture to inspire the current and next generation of swimmers.
