  • Kent's Kate French and Joe Choong both win Modern Pentathlon Olympic Gold

    Joe, who swum with Sevenoaks SC during his teens, won gold in the men's modern pentathlon to seal an Olympic double for Great Britain after Kate French triumphed in the women's event. Kate is also Kent-based and swam with Gravesend and Northfleet SC.

    Crystal Palace National Sports Centre's 50 metre swimming pool and diving pool have been out of use since early 2020. At the present time, no date for completion of repair work at the pool has been given and this iconic facility remains mothballed.  This has been a valuable facility for Kent Swimming over the years - please sign the petition!

Kent County Amateur Swimming Association was founded in 1891 by E J Plumbridge, and is a County Association in ASA South East Region and ASA London Region. The Association consists of two sub-Associations, Kent London Swimming Association (14 affiliated clubs) and Kent Rural Association (39 affiliated clubs).
