4 March*: Kent v Sussex Masters Challenge Cup is a new competition, designed to involve Development Masters as well as Masters who regularly compete. There will be two teams to represent both groups, which means that we will need 40-50 Kent Master swimmers to help us win this challenge gala. Warm up 1700 for a 1730 start and the event will be finished by 2000. Please note the timing changes.
20 May**: KCASA Masters Distance Championships - to ensure Kent County gives every opportunity to our swimmers to gain qualifying time for National competitions we will for the first time offer longer swims collecting championship points and medals for the overall Kent County Masters Championship. The events gaining KCASA Championship points are:
There will be up to four heats of 800m and two heats of 1500m, and the Promoter reserves the right to allow two swimmers per lane. Swimmers will need to abide by minimum entry guide times identified in the entry pack.
A full range of events are available on the day, but do note that those above are the only swims earning Kent points and the only ones that can set KCASA Championship Event Best Times.
24 June***: KCASA Sprint Championships - the Championships continue in the format that you know well, offering 100m and 50m all strokes and includes the 100m IM, plus relays. We will be offering further improvements this year:
