Taking place from Friday 19th to Monday 22nd December 2014, the Youth Sport Trust National Talent Camp 2014 will bring together 350 of the country’s most talented young sports people to take part in a transformational and inspiring four day residential experience.
Selected and supported by National Governing Bodies of Sport, 200 young coaches, 100 young athletes and 50 young officials, who have all demonstrated talent within their strand and shown a commitment to push themselves further, will be supported and challenged through a series of theoretical, and practical sessions, designed to take the young people out of their comfort zone and encourage them to realise what it takes to achieve their sporting best.
The ASA will be recruiting 25 young coaches from across the disciplines and 10 young swimming officials for the programme, and the National Talent Camp will be followed by a 12 month development programme delivered by the ASA specifically for ASA successful candidates.
Information on eligibility and criteria, along with details of how to apply, can be found on the website at http://www.swimming.org/asa/teaching-and-coaching/national-young-coaches-academy/
